Fire Abstractions

Years ago I saw the movie Backdraft. One line from that film has stayed with me for all these years. Robert De Niro is teaching his apprentice about the nature of fire and he says:
"It's a living thing Brian. It breathes. It eats. And it hates."

I love watching fire. I love the way it moves and changes. The way it dances.
I got to photograph a structured being burned down and found myself completely fascinated with the detail shots within the fire.
This blog is a collection of parts of the fire, the zoomed in details, rather than the whole. I hope you enjoy.
