Photography is my vocation, my calling. When I have a camera in my hands I know I am doing exactly what I was made to do. No matter the subject. I am seeking the light, seeking the truth. That’s why I love photojournalism. In spite of its failings, like cynicism and aggression, the beating heart of journalism is still noble because at its core it is about finding the truth and telling the truth. The truth isn’t always pleasant or easy, but it is more than the negativity that so often becomes the focus. The truth is life is beautiful and love is real. Each moment matters. And the truth is your story matters.
In 2009 I moved to Montana and soon became the senior photographer at the Daily Inter Lake (www.dailyinterlake.com). I quickly found that I was in a place where I could see myself happily living out the rest of my life. I am still in love with traveling the world, but this place has become home. Now that I know where I want to be, I have begun making a more dedicated effort to grow my personal photography business. In these pages you will find galleries displaying the variety of work I do, from photojournalism to weddings and families and so many things in between.
If my work speaks to you, then I hope one day we will get to meet and work together.
Best wishes and thank you for visiting.
